Production facilities
We at WinWinD are proud of our wind turbine generators and their technological concept. We also want to make sure that they are manufactured according to our standards and high quality requirements. We also ensure that our working ways and work environment are safe and meet all required standards, both governmental and our own. By manufacturing our wind turbines ourselves in our two production facilities, we can also ensure sufficient capacity, on-time deliveries and maximum process efficiency. Both our factories are ISO certified.
1 MW wind turbine and blade manufacturing facility
Our WWD-1 turbines and blades are manufactured in Vengal, India since September 2009. The facilities are spread across 65 000 m2 and have a maximum annual turbine capacity of 1000 MW.
The Vengal factory has a state of the art testing facility which includes back to back nacelle and hub testing and static testing of blades. Dynamic blade testing is under construction. All critical components are subjected to testing prior to dispatch from vendor’s premises.
3 MW wind turbine manufacturing facility
Nacelles and hubs for our 3 MW wind turbines (WWD-3 and WinWinD 3) are produced in Hamina, Finland. The production in this 13 400 m2 facility with 500 MW maximum capacity began in October 2009.
The Hamina factory also includes a state of the art back to back nacelle and hub testing. The factory is conveniently located within port, with good road infrastructure.
